Specialty Spring Division (SSD) is a dedicated operating unit focusing on a service offering of Prototype, Short Run, and Special or Custom Orders for springs, stampings and various wire forms. Peterson Spring provides precision coiled custom springs (tight tolerances, grinding, stress relieving, shot peening, removing set, color coding, special packaging and assembly) and complete support with design, prototyping, testing and volume production. Peterson Spring has incorporated full tool room and design capabilities, updated state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, and foremost utilizes manufacturing operations that provide a dedicated and highly skilled support staff for your product requirements.
SSD products and services: Special Springs - compression, torsion, extension, serpentine, power, volute, constant-force, and torque coil springs. Wire Forms - round and square shaped wire parts, snap rings, spring-tension fasteners. Stampings - custom engineered stampings to your specifications. Assemblies - complex wire and strip forms assembled from purchased and in-house manufactured parts. Round or Flat Wire Forms - Our custom wire forms offer unlimited configurations for clips, clamps, and other static or dynamic applications. We provide complete support with design, prototyping, testing, and volume production. Peterson Spring offers square, rectangular, or round wire forms in all material types. Single and multi-bodies, helical, tapered, parallel, hourglass and conical shapes are available.
